Live event printing,
custom merch in San Francisco

Product launch in SOMA, dev conference at Moscone, offsite at Fort Mason: we bring live printing right into the room, with DTF printers, a hat bar, embroidery and a screen press as equal stations, and your guests walk out wearing merch they watched come off the press.

Printing liveMerch pressed in real time as your San Francisco guests look on

San Francisco crowds have seen every swag table on the circuit, so merch has to earn its spot. We drive DTF printers, a hat bar, embroidery machines and presses up the I-5 from La Habra, build them into a Moscone booth, a Mission Bay biotech campus or a SOMA tech office, and turn your logo into something people wear while each guest waits about two minutes.

We set your logo up for screens or DTF film. Final art is due about a week out.

Load-in, done early

The truck drives up from La Habra the day before, and the station is built and tested before doors.

Why live

Swag gets left in the rideshare.
A shirt you watched printed rides home.

A pre-printed shirt gets handed over and forgotten. A press running in the room pulls people over, because they want to watch their own piece get made and then wear it out the door.

At a Moscone booth that means a sponsor tee with the aisle watching. At a SOMA launch it's a name printed on DTF. At a Fort Mason dinner it might be a stitched cap for the ride home.

Most San Francisco events land between $5K and $15K all-in. Headcount, print hours and garments decide where you fall. The quote lists crew, gear, garments, travel and every print, and it's back to you within 24 hours.

Each press does about 60 an hour, and our standard two-press station turns out 100+ an hour at pace. Each guest waits about two minutes between picking a design and wearing it. Here's how to size live printing for a San Francisco crowd.

About 10x10 ft per station and two 120V/20A circuits, plus a way in for road cases. We bring the presses, ink, garments, tables and crew. Outdoors on the waterfront we also need cover, since fog and wind don't mix with blanks.

Four to six weeks is comfortable, and two weeks is usually workable. The gear drives up the I-5 from La Habra and arrives the day before, so having art final about a week out matters more than the drive. For a Moscone show week, book early.

No. Live t-shirt printing is where most San Francisco setups start, but we also run a hat bar with pressed patches, live embroidery, and promo goods like totes and drinkware. A shirt station plus one extra is a common San Francisco mix.

Yes. We're a La Habra, CA crew and San Francisco is a full day's drive up the I-5, so the truck rolls in the day before. The drive and the crew's lodging sit on the quote as one travel line. Once we're in town we cover the whole Bay Area, from the city to the South Bay.

Yes. A booth is where a live station earns its space. We fit it to your footprint at Moscone Center and print attendee merch while the floor is open. We work inside the venue's rules; send us the exhibitor manual.

One quote covers presses and crew, garments, art prep, travel, setup and strike, and every print made during your window.

Most sizes work: Moscone Center halls, Chase Center hospitality suites, Oracle Park and shows at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, down to hotel ballrooms, galleries and warehouse venues. We set up across SOMA, Union Square, the Mission, the Financial District and the rest of the city. Waterfront and concert stages have their own page: live printing for San Francisco festivals. Kickoffs and offsites are covered under live printing for San Francisco corporate events.

That's the same rig, and the same crew, that drives up from La Habra for a San Francisco date.

Conference season in the city

San Francisco's busiest weeks are conference weeks. When Moscone is full, every hotel ballroom and SOMA venue nearby books up with side events, customer dinners and launch parties. The people walking in are exactly who the brand flew everyone in to meet.

Moscone Center
Exhibitor power and freight have their own rules, and the Howard Street docks get crowded fast. We confirm the electrical order and load-in time with show services so the press is running before the hall opens.
Chase Center & Oracle Park
Club-level hospitality and plaza activations on game and concert nights.
Pier 27, Pier 48 & Fort Mason
Waterfront parties and launches. It's cold and windy by the bay at night, so stations go indoors or under sidewalls.
Golden Gate Park
Outside Lands weekend in August, when brand villages need a station that can run all day on generator power.

We drive up rather than fly, so the full rig comes along, with spare blanks and a backup heat press riding in the truck. Xbox, Sony, Rivian and Riot Games have all trusted us with their guests.
